Whiri Time (choice time) is a time where we can choose to work on projects. As long as we create in that time. We look forward to it every week and sometimes we do it more than once a week. Here are some of the things we have been working on.
We use Pasifik Drums to make rhythms and perform these, we also make sure we talk in Samoan when we do this. We build with nails, hammers, screwdrivers and more. We make up dance routines and practise to lead whole school Jump Jam. Lots of us enjoy engineering and working together to make a circuit, so far we have made a light buln light up and a fan because it has been HOT. We made playdoh and ice-blocks. We also enjoy constructing marble ramps.
