Gravity experiment writing

Do you know the person who discovered the theory of gravity? His name was Sir Isaac Newton. In Kea we are learning about gravity and we did an experiment on it. We gathered up ten items to see which item will hit the ground first. First, we had to vote in our groups on which item, when comparing two, would hit the ground first. Next, we got two items in both hands and dropped them at the exact same time from the same height. We recorded whichever item hit the ground first. Some of us thought the items that hit the ground first were the heaviest ones. Others thought it was because of the surface area. We are going to investigate more and find out the answer.

Today we did some shared writing about the gravity experiment we did on Monday. We are learning about different sentence types so we highlighted our sentences different colours. Simple sentences are yellow, compound sentences are green and complex sentences are blue.

Here is a video of our gravity experiment too.
